What to do if you have a bench warrant in the State of Pennsylvania

A bench warrant means that there is a warrant for your arrest. There are three reasons why an individual would have a warrant out for their arrest. Victory for man wrongfully arrested and abused

In early 2008, a Philadelphia man was walking down the street, minding his own business and speaking on his phone, when the police stopped him and stated they needed to speak with him. Concerned that he may owe child support and be detained, the man exercised his constitutional right not to stop and continued walking. The police attempted to grab him and the man sprinted. As the police began to chase him, allegedly, a woman stated to the police that he had a gun. He continued running and according to police, pointed the gun at them. The police shot at him three times and hit him once, and he fell to the ground. After falling, he continued trying to evade, (more…)


Not guilty verdict

Jury found a Philadelphia woman accused of aggravated assault not guilty last week.

In January of 2012, a Philadelphia woman was attending a Beef and Beer fundraiser at her neighborhood bar with family and friends.
