4.8 Million Dollar Settlement in Scaffolding Collapse Case

$4,800,000 pretrial settlement for our client

We reached a $4,800,000 pretrial settlement for our client, who suffered catastrophic personal injuries. Because of the negligence of others, a scaffold collapsed on him. He suffered a spinal burst fracture, which required spinal fusion surgery. Spinal cord injuries are some of the worst injuries requiring significant treatment and resulting in permanent injuries.

We brought negligence claims and product liability claims against multiple parties. The defendants included the scaffolding product manufacturer, the safety consultant, and the corporation who owned his employer.

We retained highly qualified experts, including scaffolding and safety, vocational, economist, and life care planner.

To thoroughly investigate, we visited the accident site, secured all the documents, and conducted over 30 depositions.

To understand our client’s injuries and damages, we thoroughly got to know him, his family, his friends, and his former co-workers. We studied his medical records. We also retained a videographer and production team to produce a customized day-in-the-life video. Because nobody can truly walk in another person’s shoes, we produced the documentary to capture visually our client’s injuries and damages.

Our personalized approach and focused hard work secured this recovery for our client. Because each accident has unique facts, and because each injured person has one-of-a-kind injuries, we address the unique challenges of each case with our personal approach. We accept a few cases so that we can provide every client with that high-level, personalized service. And that is what we are proud to offer clients. Because each personal injury case is personal, and each wrongful death case is profoundly tragic to the survivors, our individualized approach is meaningful and valuable.
