What our clients are saying
“Emmett Madden is an extremely insightful, strategic attorney. We have used him for several unexpected events within our two restaurants in Old City Philadelphia. Regardless of the complexity of the matter, he is someone I know will consider not only legal strategy, but also business practicalities in providing advice and litigation options. Emmett Madden brings great judgment and integrity to such matters where it is desperately needed.”

“I would highly recommend Emmett Madden. Our son got into some teenage trouble with the police, and Mr. Madden really helped us out with a quick resolution and also navigating through the process, with which we were completely unfamiliar. He helped with everything about the situation, includng how to talk to the cops, and what to do or not do. We felt very informed and grateful for his help. No one wants to be embarrassed by their child’s bad choices but alas . . . . Mr. Madden was very compassionate and I think being a father himself, he understood this clearly, which really made a difference to us.”
“When Emmett Madden took over my case, everything got better almost overnight. He promptly and professionally kept me in the loop of where my case was going and had genuine concern for my injuries. I was very happy with how quickly he settled my case and got my bills paid without ever having to go to court. Thanks Emmett.”
“I am very glad I chose ThePhillyLawyers for my car accident case. They were always available when needed and helped me through every step of the way. And they successfully negotiated with my insurance company the settlement I wanted.”
“You are a gem in your profession.”
“Emmett Madden was highly recommended to me. He exceeded all my expectations regarding my personal injury case. He is very professional, as is his staff. He was personable and caring, listened to my questions and concerns, and promptly responded with wonderful insight. He was attentive to all the details, which was comforting while suffering from permanent injuries. His time and effort is greatly appreciated. I would recommend Emmett to my family and friends.”
“After our mother was hospitalized for suffering from several medical issues, her doctors suggested she go to a rehabilitation facility to gain back some strength. All she wanted was to come home, and we promised her that in just two weeks she would be home. While at that facility she fell, broke her hip, and suffered due to the negligence of the staff. After watching her in pain and suffering, we felt it was unfair for this to happen due to negligence, so we contacted Mr. Emmett Madden.
Mr. Madden came to visit our mother and was so kind, patient, and understanding as he listened to her story. He agreed to take on our case and was wonderful through it all. He explained everything he was doing along the way and took care of everything for us. We could then focus on her recovery at home.
Unfortunately, our mother passed away before the case was settled. We were asked to go to mediation to settle the case. It was hard at this point because we were so sad about losing our mother and didn’t want to relive the pain. Again, Mr. Madden took care of everything for us that day and understood how we were feeling. He secured a generous settlement for us and when we received it, we felt like we were receiving one last gift from our mother that we wouldn’t have gotten without his efforts. He was a great help to us and we will always be grateful to him for his professional services.”
“I first met Mr. Madden from ThePhillyLawyers about five years ago after being referred by a friend. At the time I was concerned about being in a lawsuit because I had never been in a lawsuit and I wasn’t sure what I was supposed to do. I found out that I didn’t have to do anything but put everything in Mr. Madden’s hands and the rest was easy.
From the very beginning, Mr. Madden took control of every angle and every detail of my case. He was always very professional. Any time he had to take an action on my behalf, I was notified. He kept all the records and paperwork to back up every little detail. He jumped right in and knew what direction to take, who to call, and what was needed. I don’t know what I would have done without him. His organizational skills were remarkable and he was on top of everything that mattered.
Due to circumstances, we eventually had to go to court. As I had never experienced being in a court case, he explained the entire process and led me through one of the scariest times of my life. I was not used to speaking about myself in public especially in front of a jury of people I didn’t know. I was a bit timid at times, but he would know just what to say to get me to open up during the trial.
In addition, there were two doctors who Mr. Madden had asked to give video testimony regarding my case. He played this during the trial. Probably the biggest thing that impressed me with Mr. Madden was the way he was able to bring out words from the opposing doctor to show how he was being paid to lie. Toward the end of his testimony you could see the doctor’s aggravation with Mr. Madden on his face, and he refused to answer further questions. I believe it takes a true lawyer to have been able to accomplish such a scenario. It was like watching criminal minds.
I am honored to have experienced Mr. Madden’s strategies and kind, sincere way of doing justice.”
